Alli Bedni Bugyal
- Difficulty: Easy to Moderate
- Region: Lohajung, Uttarakhand
- Duration: 6 Days
Ali Bedni Bugyal is a journey that’s hard to match up to. Because give it any season, and it’ll have a commodity to stun trekkers with. In summer, it’s the atrocious colors of the meadows. In downtime, it’s the endearing timbers laid with snow, and the clearings in them. Not to forget, the over-close views of Mt Trishul and Mt Nanda Ghunti, two of the most famed mountains among trekkers.
Pro tip: This is an extremely rare journey that hardly many people venture out on. So if you’re looking for a beautifully insulated experience, close your eyes and choose this.
Dayara Bugyal Winter Trek
- Difficulty: Easy to Moderate
- Region: Raithal, Uttarakhand
- Duration: 6 Days
The Dayara Bugyal trek is simply amazing because it’s such a comforting rise and yet gives you similar grande returns. You can now anticipate similar views and guests on such an easy journey! And in downtime, it’s indeed proper (if that’s possible) with the meadows blanketed in shimmering white snow.
Pro tip Given the ease of the rise, this journey is especially good for families and newcomers in downtime. But don’t let that stop you if you’re an educated mountaineer — you can go on this journey ten times and you won’t tire. I would also recommend it to those who have formerly seen it in another season. It’s a fully different journey in downtime.
Brahmatal Winter Trek
- Difficulty: Easy to Moderate
- Region: Raithal, Uttarakhand
- Duration: 6 Days
Stand at the peak, with an engaging view of the two most famed mountains — Mt Trishul and Mt Nanda Ghunti. Most trekkers come back raving about the snow then. Also, be physically set because it has some good climbs.
Deoriatal – Chandrashila Winter Trek
- Difficulty: Easy to Moderate
- Region: Sari, Uttarakhand
- Duration: 6 Days
It used to be one of India’s most popular downtime treks. The fashionability failed when the timber department closed some pivotal campgrounds. But now new indispensable campgrounds have come up.
The trail, of course, remains fascinating with its vibrant timbers, the lake, and the rise to the Tungnath tabernacle and Chandrashila peak.
Pro tip this journey gives a largely illegal price for the quantum of trouble you put in. You get to see nearly all the most magnificent peaks in the Indian Himalayas including Mt Nanda Devi, India’s loftiest peak. And you get to witness snow in winter. However, don’t suppose doubly, just go for it, If the dates suit you.
Kedarkantha Winter Trek
- Difficulty: Easy to Moderate
- Region: Gaichawan Gaon, Uttarakhand
- Duration: 6 Days
It has endearing campgrounds, a thrilling peak rise, and one of the stylish downtime guests in the Himalayas. Most trekkers treat it as a pail list journey, and they’re fully justified because it’s not every day you come across such a perfect downtime journey.
Pro tip: We’re doing this journey from the Kotgaon route, and not from Sankri. This new trail is insulated and it bypasses the crowd.
Sandakphu – Phalut
- Difficulty: Moderate
- Region: Jaubhari, West Bengal
- Duration: 7 Days
Choose this journey if you’re looking for a strong artistic experience. You get a peep into what the Nepali touring culture is like. It’s a journey on the border of India and Nepal, constantly weaving in and out of the two countries (feels veritably transnational, I tell you!).
It also gives you views of four of the altitudinous mountains in the world — Mt Everest, Mt Lhotse, Mt Makalu, and Mt Kanchenjunga. No other journey gives you that.
Not many trekkers know this, but on this journey, you stay in tea houses for many days, and you also get the camping experience for 2 days. It’s a great way to witness the stylishness of both worlds. While you get snow on this journey, it isn’t as important as our Uttarakhand or Himachal treks.
Kuari Pass Winter Trek
- Difficulty: Easy to Moderate
- Region: Tapoban, Uttarakhand
- Duration: 6 Days
Irrespective of whether you are a seasoned mountaineer or a freshman the Kuari Pass is a journey you need to do. It’s a must-do for the views of some of India’s most famed mountains – Mt Nanda Devi ( bases) and Mt Dronagiri ( bases) – in any season.
Pro tip: In downtime there’s an added magnet. The snow in its nearly impeccably drafted timbers. Snowflakes settled on the Oak leaves above a white-coated timber bottom takes you incontinently to the land which would be Santa Clause’s covetousness. All this gives you an unmatched downtime touring experience in the Himalayas!
